Downderry Wines is located near Narrogin, Western Australia and was founded by Rex and Jan Hayes and their family in 1997
The location had been a working farm for many years and has well matured soils of rich loam and gravel over clay. This is ideal for the growing of a variety of grape vines to make quality wine.
In the years since the vines were planted, the Downderry vintages have steadily improved and are now consistent award winners, having won more than twenty medals and trophies in the Wandering Wheatbelt Wine Awards
Varieties include an earthly Shiraz, Rosé, Moscato, Sparkling, and an award-winning Zinfandel.
